How it works

Copy and paste · No internet in WoW
  1. Step 1: Make a link codeHere, signed in: a one-time code, valid 10 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Type it in WoWIn the addon's Account tab. It answers with a request line (SRL1…).
  3. Step 3: Paste the request hereYour character is linked to your account.
  4. Step 4: Import your profileCopy the profile code (SRP1…) back into WoW. Refresh it any time.

WoW addons can't go online, so this is manual sync, not live sync. The addon plays every mode without a link.

Install

Once the addon is released
  1. Step 1
    Download the ZIP

    From this page (or the addon's official listing once it is published).

  2. Step 2
    Unpack into AddOns

    Into World of Warcraft\_<client>_\Interface\AddOns, so the folder StackRivals sits there.

  3. Step 3
    Start WoW and type /sr

    Enable the addon on the character screen if needed, then open it with /sr.

Help

If something doesn't work
“That link code isn't one of yours”
Codes are bound to the account that made them. Make a new code while signed in to the account you want to link, then type that code in WoW.
“The link code ran out” or “already used”
A code lives 10 minutes and links once. Make a new one — it takes a second.
“Not a valid link request”
Copy the whole line from WoW, starting with SRL1. and ending with the 8-character check. A missing piece or a typo is caught.
The addon says “not synced” or “out of date”
Profile codes last 7 days. Press Export snapshot on this page and import the new code in WoW.
Copying on a phone
Tap the code box (it selects the whole code) or use Copy profile code, then send it to the computer you play on.
Is it safe? Can I edit my profile code?
The code contains no password, e-mail or secret. Its check only catches typos — it is not proof. Editing it changes only what your own addon shows; your real level, XP and items stay on stackrivals.io and can't be changed from WoW.
Do WoW games give XP or Shards?
Not now. WoW results earn nothing on the website yet; that needs a verification model first.
